Most people when they think of another person wearing red frame sunglasses would imagine a women, or young girl wearing these glasses but the truth is that if you can pull it off, anyone can wear them without having to put their sexual preference on the line. You should be able to wear what you like without having to worry about other people judging you. Another thing to consider with the heat factor is this: have you ever been in the mall, come out to your car to put your sunglasses on only to find that they are so scaldingly hot it burns your ears and nose when you put them on? Black sunglasses are notrious for this. If you purchase a lighter colored pair of red sunglasses they will attract up to 20% less heat then darker colored sunglasses. Not to mention if you have red lense sunglasses you will attracting less heat as well. The overall solution to all of this would be to keep your sunglasses in your glove compartment or in a sunglasses case although this isn’t as convenient as just having them hanging above the vanity mirror so you can quickly put them on.

As mentioned previously red sunglasses stand out more than black sunglasses. Let’s face it, the reason why we put time into buying that nice shirt or shoes is so that we can feel good and stand out and have people notice us. If you’re just another face wearing black sunglasses then you’ll blend in more, but if you want to really be seen then you want to go with something different and colors that are bit brighter.

You can do this several ways, of course if you were in the same situation above, going out around town with thousands of people and not noticing any of them, but then suddenly you see someone with horrible clashing clothes on, you’d probably notice them and remember them easily. This is because they’re different, but in this case different isn’t necessarily good. Sure you noticed the person but now you’re just laughing at them! This probably isn’t the kind of attention you were going for. The key here is to be subtle with what you’re using to get people’s attention so it doesn’t come off as try hard and red sunglasses are a great way to do it. Sure the red sunglasses probably won’t match the rest of the outfit, but that’s a good thing. Because the red sunglasses aren’t really considered part of your outfit people won’t think that you have bad taste but just look at it as sunglasses and nothing more but at the same time it will be eye catching.

But why red sunglasses? Red sunglasses are specifically good for flaring up outfits because red has always been a symbol of a sporty look. This is why you see most fancy sports cars as colored red, because red gives off that exciting vibe. You could go with a bright yellow but it’s going to have a different effect because different colors set different moods. Red is overall a great color and will stand out but without making you look try hard.
